CURRICULUM PHILOSHOPY
At WonderHere Press, we believe wonder is the foundation of genuine learning. Inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Finnish educational traditions, our curriculum prioritizes curiosity, hands-on discovery, play, creativity, and deep understanding over rote memorization.
Born inside an actual microschool, our unit studies were created by educators who have lived this work. Each study weaves together seven key Learning Elements… literature, art, play, nature, community, music, and phenomena… to create rich, joyful learning experiences that invite children to explore, create, question, and discover.
We make project-based learning accessible, meaningful, and full of wonder.
Play
Play isn’t a break from learning… play IS learning. Enjoy Invitations to Play that will engage your child’s imagination.
Community
Learning should never be just about ourselves. A community empathy project will guide us on how to serve others.
Phenomena
Phenomena (or Project) Based Learning allows your child’s questions and wonders guide learning through research and creating.
Art
Engage your child’s creativity through Invitations to Create. Enjoy art projects, recipes, crafts, and projects of all other mediums.
Literature
Enjoy high quality fiction and non-fiction books that bring home the concepts being explored.
Nature
Time spent outdoors allows us to engage our senses and expand our ability to learn. Your children will enjoy nature, take notice of it, and make connections with their studies and the outdoors.
Music
The study of music allows the brain to take in information on another level. Your child will study a composer, listening to a new musical piece each week.
