Women’s History Unit Study

$20.00

We are honored and thrilled that you’ve chosen us to come alongside your family as you pursue a wonder-filled education for your children!  For the next six weeks, you and your children will explore and learn about all things WOMEN’S HISTORY!

It can be so tempting to approach historical topics (like Civil Rights and Women’s History) with the method of simply memorizing dates and events, rather than diving deeply into the concepts and ideas, the way that Phenomena Based Learning encourages. But when learning about complex topics such as these, the approach of “ask before tell” and “explore before explain” is imperative.

This Unit Study is written to you – the parent, the expert on your child. As you read through the information and activities each week, remember you have the freedom and power to adjust it and make it work for YOUR family. Homeschooling is not “school at home”… it’s a lifestyle, a posture of constant learning and growing.

PLUS, you can enjoy additional resources like the World Changers Math Project!

Unit Overview:

Week 1: Early Ideas About Women
Week 2: The Suffrage Movement
Week 3: Declaration of Rights of Women
Week 4: The Right to Vote
Week 5: Women’s Rights as Civil Rights
Week 6: More Notable Women in History

Subject: Science

Ages: 5-14

Format: Downloadable PDF

Cost: $20
